Airbnb in the mobile-calendar

Airbnb is one of the most recognizable booking platforms in the world. It started with the rental of private apartments and rooms, but today you can find apartments, vacation homes, and many other types of accommodation virtually all over the world.

The scale of the platform shows how wide its reach is. According to Airbnb data, it is present on the platform in more than 9 million active listings in over 150,000 cities and towns in more than 220 countries and regions.

For many Airbnb properties, therefore, it is an important additional source of bookings. At the same time, each additional channel means another place where you need to control availability, prices, new stays, and contact with guests.

That is why mobile-calendar appeared Direct integration with Airbnb in real time.

After connecting the accounts, reservations with Airbnb are sent to mobile-calendar, and prices and availability can be synchronized without manually updating the same information in several places. The integration also includes communication with guests and additional elements related to Airbnb support.

Bookings on Airbnb without switching between systems

When a guest books a stay through Airbnb, the reservation appears in the mobile-calendar along with the information needed to process it. You’ll see it next to direct bookings and those from other channels.

Thanks to this, you don’t have to go to Airbnb just to see if there’s a new reservation or to see what the current occupancy is.

This is especially convenient when the property uses several sales channels simultaneously. Instead of several calendars and several dashboards, you have one place where you can quickly see what is currently happening at the property.

Real-time synchronized availability

However, just the appearance of reservations in one calendar is only part of the integration process.

Changes in availability are communicated between Airbnb and mobile-calendar in real time. If a date becomes unavailable, you no longer have to remember to manually block it at another location.

The same applies in the other direction. A reservation added in mobile-calendar can immediately affect the availability shown on Airbnb. After the stay is cancelled, the reservation can also be cancelled again.

In practice, this means less manual monitoring of the calendar and a lower risk that the same date will remain available in several places.

Airbnb prices also available from the mobile-calendar

If you update the rates for your property, you don't have to go to Airbnb every time and make the same changes again. You can set prices for this channel directly in the mobile-calendar.

With just one change, this can mean saving several clicks. With regular price management and a larger number of offers, the difference becomes much more noticeable.

What is most important, however, is that reservations, availability, and prices no longer function as three separate things that need to be monitored in different places.

News from Airbnb guests in the same place

The reservation does not end when it appears in the calendar.

Guests ask about the time of arrival, parking, equipment, key collection, or the possibility of early check-in. Therefore, the integration also includes chat with Airbnb guests, which can be operated from the mobile-calendar platform.

More information from Airbnb at your fingertips

Other information related to Airbnb support may also be available in the mobile-calendar – including information about offers and transactions, as well as disputes or quality statistics.

Of course, this does not mean that the Airbnb panel will cease to be necessary.

It’s more about doing as many daily tasks as possible where you manage your property’s bookings anyway.

How does it look in everyday work?

Let's say a guest books a weekend through Airbnb.

The reservation appears in the mobile-calendar and you can immediately see it along with the other stays. The availability is updated, so you don't have to manually block the same date.

Before arriving, the guest sends a message asking about the check-in time. You can reply from the mobile-calendar.

In the meantime, you continue to work on the same calendar from which you manage the other reservations.

This is a simple example, but it clearly shows the greatest advantage of integration: less switching between systems and easier control over what is currently happening in the facility.

Airbnb as part of daily work in mobile-calendar

You can see reservations in your calendar, prices and availability can update in real time, and you can handle guest messages directly from mobile-calendar. Airbnb remains a separate sales channel, but it doesn’t have to be a separate place that you have to control all day long.

Integration with Airbnb is now available in mobile-calendar.
